  We are a traditional manufacture chimney headquartered in Póvoa e Meadas, Castelo de Vide council,  an area well known by the quality their "Enchidos".

 Integrated in the protected area of Portalegre, our products of Black Pig have the stamp of a certified product; one that further highligts the quality of our catalog.

 Smoked sausages, Sausages, Farinheiras, Cacholeiras, Mouros, Morcela, Pork Sausages, White Pork Sausage, Painhos and Loin are crafted in a traditional manner for our customers' full satisfaction.

[Brief Historic]

 The Castelo de Vide "Enchidos" were, for a long time; very well known and appreciated. 

 Due to their condiments and the characteristics of the pigs that grazed in the pastures of the mountain of S.Mamede and surroundings, the "Enchidos" had a very peculiar flavor and were highly appreciated.

 Little by little, the legislation started to be tighter, and the small craft producers that existed began to disappear. As consequence; the Castelo de Vide "Enchidos" no longer were present in the market. 

 We intend with our unit of production to invert this situation, elaborating the same "Enchidos", smoked with azinho wood and maintaining the traditional and natural flavour of the old recipes.
